Two Milwaukee Police officers were hospitalized Wednesday after trying to arrest a 13-year-old boy at school.
The officers were called to Franklin School at 2308 W. Nash Street at about 2:30 p.m. after the official said the boy brought a pellet gun to school.
Police say the boy became physically combative with the officers as they were speaking with him, and resisted attempts to bring him under control.
The 46-year-old male and female officers were both treated for non life-threatening injuries at a local hospital.
The Milwaukee County District Attorney’s Office will decide on possible charges in the next few days.
