FRANKLIN — The Milwaukee Milkmen are starting off the holiday weekend with their first game of the season.
The Milkmen are hosting the Chicago Dogs at 6:30 p.m. on Friday at Franklin Field. The 60-game season is themed "For Love of the Game."
“We’ve prepared a COVID-19 Readiness Plan to make it possible to safely enjoy live baseball, movies, music, and the Umbrella bar,” said Mike Zimmerman, owner of the Milwaukee Milkmen, in a press release. “Stadium seating for Milkmen games will be limited to allow for social distancing, for instance, so tickets will almost certainly sell out it’s crucial to buy them online in advance.”
Afternoon games for the Milkmen will be held Saturday and Sunday.
Other than baseball, Engage Franklin has a full weekend of activities for those seeking something to do this weekend.
You can catch a live show at the Rock Complex's Umbrella Bar for its Saturday Night Concert Series, featuring 76 Juliet or a movie at the Milky Way Drive-In both Saturday and Sunday.
The Greendale fireworks show Saturday will also be visible from the Rock.
