MILWAUKEE -- An update to a story we brought you nearly two years ago. A Milwaukee man living with brain cancer recently lost his battle with the disease.
Noah Gilday shared his fight to survive his fast-growing brain cancer, called Glioblastoma. Doctors told him he had up to a year to live.
His father shared how treatment not approved in the U.S., called immunotherapy, helped extend his life another two years. They traveled to Mexico to use the treatment designed to boost the body's natural defenses.
"Noah's message was a message of hope and you fight not just for life but for the possibility of a cure some day," said John Gilday, Noah's Father.
