MILWAUKEE -- A Milwaukee man is in the hospital after a driver hit him with their car and kept driving early Thursday morning.
It happened in the area of Grantosa Dr. and Fond du Lac Ave. at about 1:30 a.m. Thursday, police say. Someone driving in the area noticed the victim on the road and called police, waiting with him until officers arrived.
Police say the victim is a man in his 30s and has serious injuries.
The Milwaukee Police Department's crash reconstruction unit is investigating the incident. Officers continue to search for a suspect or suspects.
