MILWAUKEE — Three cars have crashed into Quario Taylor’s front yard in the last three weeks. On Wednesday, a car slammed into his front porch before the driver got away.
The vehicle involved in the hit-and-run left the scene on 20th and Keefe before police arrived.
Taylor said he is counting his blessings after Wednesday’s crash.
“It could've been way worse,” he said. “It’s children out here.”
Signs, crossing lines and a stoplight are all present at the 20th Street intersection at Keefe. Drivers there told TODAY’S TMJ4 speeding is still an issue.
“People just can’t drive, I guess,” he said.
It was a usual wake-up call for Taylor.

“I peep out and see the porch hit and I’m like, ‘Yeah, it’s all bad,’ ” Taylor said.
The crash marked the third in as many weeks in the yard. On Monday, a van crashed into a house next to Taylor’s.
Several people in the area who spoke with TODAY’S TMJ4 said they hope drivers slow down before more accidents happen.
