MILWAUKEE -- A 23-year-old Milwaukee man told police he shot his neighbor's dog Monday afternoon.
Milwaukee police said they responded to a "shots fired" call around 2:30 p.m. near 47th and Hampton. Upon arrival, the man said he fired the shots.
The dog was hit at least once and its condition is unknown.
The man who fired the shots was taken to District 7 for further questioning and was later arrested "for endangering safety by use of a dangerous weapon and carrying a concealed weapon."
It is unknown why he fired the shots in the first place.
Officials said this case will now be presented to the Milwaukee County District Attorney’s Office.
