MILWAUKEE -- Feeling stressed, Milwaukee? Well, apparently you are not alone.

According to a new study from Wallethub.com, Milwaukee ranked as the eighth most stressed city in America.

Wallethub.com compared 180 cities across 37 metrics, ranging from work hours to debt to suicide rates. On a scale of 1-91, with one being the most stressed, Milwaukee ranked 39 in traffic congestion, 14 in poverty rate, 33 in the divorce rate and 49 in job security.

A big contributor to Milwaukee's high-stress score was the high rankings of financial stress and family stress -- two categories that go hand-in-hand. Financial stress ranked 12 highest, and family stress was right behind it at 14.

The three most stressed cities of 2018 are Detroit, Newark, and Cleveland. Chicago came in a 17.

On the other side of things, if you're looking for a city that with little stress, you can head west. Overland Park, Kansas, Sioux Falls, South Dakota, Bismarck, North Dakota and the least stressed of them all, Fremont, California round out the top 5 least stressed cities.
