MILWAUKEE — Milwaukee native and Police Department Harbor Patrol Officer Daniel Roufus traveled to Long Island in search of waterfowl on national TV series Brotherhood Outdoors.
Roufus is usually accustomed to haunting large whitetail deer, that grew into a passion of his after his father-in-law introduced him to the sport.
Waterfowl wasn't really this 'thing' until once-in-a-lifetime Long Island adventure.
“The outdoors is close to my heart,” said Roufus. “I am all about enjoying what nature has to offer, passing on healthy information, and practicing what you preach. The fact that this can be done while supporting union-based activities is the icing on the cake.”
To follow Roufus' journey, tune into Brotherhood Outdoors on the Sportsman Channel on Tuesday, Nov. 3, at 3 p.m. CT.
