The 73rd Annual Holiday Folk Fair is a melting pot celebration with more than 50 ethnic communities.

It's a festival David Segura is happy to tour because he gets to enjoy it with his son, Nicholas.

"They learn a lot of stuff, to me it's very educational for the kids," Segura said.

Curtis Winterfeldt has been a part of this festival for 39 years and he's glad to teach people about different communities each year.

"Our group looks forward to it every year...culture is different wherever you go," Winterfeldt said.

There's another way to get into the holiday spirit this weekend. The Hunger Task Force and Johnson Controls are teaming up to bring you the 90th annual Milwaukee holiday parade.

"It is definitely a Christmas themed parade so it's absolutely going to be a ton of fun," said Sherri Tussler, the executive director with the Hunger Task Force.

Hunger Task Force will be collecting food and cash donations for families in need.

"We will likely fill this truck behind me and so we're going to collect anywhere depending upon weather between 1,000 and as many as 10,000 pounds of food...it's time to be generous and help other people at the holidays," she said.

Because giving is what the holidays are all about. Saturday's parade will kick off at 9:30 a.m. Also, if you donate you'll receive a 25 percent off coupon to The Boston Store.
