MILWAUKEE – A Milwaukee Fire Department employee was arrested Saturday night for allegedly sexually assaulting a coworker. TODAY'S TMJ4 will not release that man's name until he's officially charged.

A police supervisor said the firefighter was arrested at his home in Hartland and brought to the Milwaukee County Jail by police.

The Milwaukee Fire Department sent a news release confirming the arrest. It said the employee works as a Milwaukee Fire Department Heavy Equipment Operator.

Fire officials said the city employee allegedly used force to sexually assault a female coworker.

A City salary database shows the suspect has been working with the fire department since 2010. He was promoted to his current position three years ago.
