The Milwaukee County Zoo is about to unveil an "Otter Passage" at its newly-designed West Entrance with three female otters, Emerald, Clover and Shamrock.

The otters will greet lucky guests entering the Zoo at the new entrance starting on May 19.

The newly-constructed exhibit features two pools, a splash pad, a river area with a slide and a land area for digging. There will also be an underwater viewing area and a hollowed-out tree for kids to get an up-close look at the otter's den. 

"The new West Entrance will be open daily at 10 a.m., May 19 and 20; resuming daily beginning May 26 through Sept. 3. Beginning Sept. 4, it will be open weekends only through Oct. 31," the Zoo says.
