The Milwaukee County Medical Examiner reported Monday that there has been a total of 170 overdose deaths thus far this year.
On Twitter, the ME said at this rate overdose deaths will increase by 20 percent, compared to 2016.

So far, 69 of those deaths are attributed to potent synthetic opioid fentanyl.
