MILWAUKEE COUNTY -- The first weekend in August was deadly with drug overdoses in Milwaukee County.
According to the Milwaukee County Medical Examiner’s Office, seven of the 10 autopsies performed Monday were probable drug overdoses.
The seven weekend deaths bring the total number in the county up to more than 200 so far this year. Milwaukee County is on track for a 20 percent increase in overdose deaths this year compared to last year.
