Milwaukee Police continue to investigate a strong armed robbery that happened around 2:30 a.m. on Saturday, March 11 near the intersection of 5th Street and Garfield Avenue.

Two victims, a 55-year-old woman and a 30-year-old man, were inside their 2004 Hyundai Santa Fe when a male suspect approached their vehicle and punched the woman inside of the car.
Milwaukee police say the two victims got out of the car and then a male and female suspect got into the victim's Santa Fe and the male suspect then struck both victims with their car.

Both of those victims were transported to a local hospital for treatment of their injuries.
A short time later, the Santa Fe crashed in the 800 block of W. North Avenue.  The male suspect, a 26-year-old man, was taken to a local hospital for treatment of his injuries and was taken into custody. The female suspect fled the scene.

Milwaukee police are still looking for the female suspect.
