Milwaukee Bucks start their playoff run Tuesday

MILWAUKEE — The Bucks defense wasn't exactly stellar down the stretch. And the postseason is where the defense can truly make you a champion.

"Got room to grow on both sides of the ball here in this bubble," Kyle Korver says. "But I think I've been really encouraged by the last couple days of our film sessions and our conversations, and just guys ready to really lock-in. For us, it's energy. It's focus. And it hasn't been that great in the bubble so far but I feel pretty confident that we're going to be a different team going forward."

Bucks coach Mike Budenholzer believes that players step up naturally when it comes to the playoffs.

"There's more detail. There's more just understanding of you know what we want and expect. And I think it's just, you know the playoffs bring out the best in everybody, including defensively. And so we don't talk about it a lot," Mike Budenholzer says. "You know it's not like we say oh it's the playoffs, we gotta play harder or play, you know do this and that. I think a lot of it comes naturally and instinctively."
