Milwaukee Alderman Khalif J. Rainey is inviting residents to a virtual learning session for Earned Income Tax Credit (EITC) Awareness Day.
The meeting, led by the Internal Revenue Service (IRS), will focus on tax season tips, taxpayer assistance services, and other taxpayer benefits.
Alderman Rainey is encouraging residents to join the meeting and learn about Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) that provides tax services to low to moderate-income taxpayers.
VITA also assists with pre-filing to prevent tax refund delays.
There will be three online sessions on Friday you can attend.
