MILWAUKEE -- The Milwaukee Fire Department says a 12-year-old boy was struck by a car Friday evening and has been taken to Children’s Hospital.
It happened just after 8 p.m. at the intersection of 40th Street and North Avenue.
A witness tells TODAY'S TMJ4 that the boy was trying to cross North Avenue when he was hit. That witness says that two kids were trying to cross the street together. One ran, the other hesitated, then ran out. The driver tried to swerve to avoid hitting the children -- but struck the 12-year-old.
