Meet the Milwaukee inspiration behind the Oscar-winning short 'Hair Love'

When former NFL player Matthew Cherry produced the animated short "Hair Love", his goal was to beat stereotypes and promote hair love among young, colored men and women. The moving Oscar-winning short film showed a young girl attempting to style her hair with the help of her father -- and he was inspired by a familiar face from Milwaukee, DJ Hines! We're so excited to welcome DJ Hines back to the yellow couch so he can share what it's like to be an inspiration for an award-winning film and his recent visit on "The Kelly Clarkson Show".
