MILWAUKEE — The Milwaukee Police Department is investigating a fatal shooting that happened near 28th and Atkinson on Wednesday,
Police say a 27-year-old woman was shot around 7:38 p.m. and died from her injuries.

Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the shooting.
Police are seeking unknown suspects.
The Milwaukee County Medical Examiner's Office said an autopsy will be performed Thursday.
