MILWAUKEE — The Milwaukee County Medical Examiner's Office (MCMEO) responded to a double fatality near 71st and Honey Creek in Milwaukee's River Bend neighborhood.

Milwaukee police are investigating the double homicide. They say it happened shortly before 1:30 p.m.
A 44-year-old Milwaukee woman and 48-year-old Milwaukee man were both fatally shot.
An autopsy will be performed Tuesday.
Milwaukee police say no arrests have been made. The circumstances leading up to the shooting remain under investigation.
