MU Law School Poll shows Cruz, Sanders in lead

MILWAUKEE -- The most recent Marquette University Law School poll shows that Ted Cruz and Bernie Sanders are in the lead for the Wisconsin primary race.

The results are based on 1,400 interviews with registered voters from March 24 to 28.

The GOP results are as follows:

  • Ted Cruz with 40% support
  • Donald Trump with 30% support
  • John Kasich with 21% support

That's compared to February when Trump was at 30%, Cruz was at 19% and Kasich was at 8%. 

The Democratic results are as follows:

  • Bernie Sanders with 49% support
  • Clinton with 45% support

That's compared to February when Sanders was at 44% and Clinton was at 43%.
