GREENDALE -- There are plans in the works for a new movie theater at Southridge Mall.
Marcus Theaters is planning to install a new cinema there. The company is currently in the development stages and can't provide a lot of details, but according to plans submitted to the Village of Greendale, the theater will be located near the the Sears and Kohl's stores and will have eight screens.
The Milwaukee-based theater chain has focused on introducing new features and amenities for visitors in recent years, including their "Big Screen Bistro" format, "Dreamlounger" chairs, and restaurants like Zaffiro's Pizza.
