MADISON — A prosecutor alleges that a man whose Madison apartment contained homemade explosives appeared to be planning an attack on the University of Wisconsin-Madison campus.
According to our partners at WISC-TV, Brian Campbell pleaded no contest to second-degree reckless endangerment and possession of improvised explosives.
In Campbell's apartment, police reportedly discovered what was believed to be bomb-making materials.
In addition, Assistant District Attorney John Rice claimed Campbell had searched the internet for instructions on making explosives and drew maps of tunnels on the university's campus.
