MILWAUKEE -- A man was shot while walking on Milwaukee's north side Wednesday night.
The shooting happened at approximately 10:30 p.m. near 19th and Clarke streets.
Milwaukee police said the 35-year-old man was walking down the street when he heard shots and realized he had been shot.
The man was taken to the hospital and is expected to survive.
There are no suspects in custody.
