The Washington County Sheriff's Department is searching for a suspect wanted for a bank robbery at the National Exchange Bank.
Police say just after 11 a.m. last Monday the man entered the bank while talking on his cell phone. While still on the phone, he approached the teller and demanded money while providing the bag. He then flashed the teller a handgun.
The man is described as a white male in his mid 20s. He is between 5 foot 5 inches and 5 foot 8 inches tall. The suspect was last seen wearing glasses, dark pants, a dark long-sleeve shirt and a dark knit cap.
It is likely he got into a larger, older maroon-colored SUV that was waiting for him near the bank, according to police.
