TRENTON -- A man is dead after an accident involving a skid loader at Roden Echo Valley Farm Tuesday afternoon.
According to a press release from the Washington County Sheriff's Office, the first responding deputy found that the victim's leg was amputated during the accident. The victim had no pulse and was not breathing. Deputies on scene started CPR until Newburg Fire/Rescue arrived.
Flight for life was called, but the victim passed away before it arrived.
The initial investigation into the accident shows that the victim lost his balance and fell between the feed spreader that he was riding and the wheel of the skid loader, according to the press release.
The victim's identity is being withheld until family is notified.
