Two men killed in north side Milwaukee home

Milwaukee police are investigating the deaths of two men early Tuesday morning.

Police say one man was shot and the other stabbed just after 3:30 a.m.

Investigators were called to a home near 36th and Congress.

Family members tell TODAY’S TMJ4 that a 24-year-old woman was asleep in her room with her baby when she heard and a scuffle and gunshots.

  • She soon discovered her father laying on the floor suffering from a gunshot wound.

    Another man was stabbed and rushed to the hospital  where police say he died.

    Rosa Smith lives down the street from the shooting and woke up to police swarming her neighborhood.

    "Wow! I can't believe she had to go through that! That poor mom and her baby. That's sad. That's sad," Smith said.

    Police did not confirm whether anyone was in custody for the shootings.
