Brown Deer police are investigating a suspicious death after finding a deceased man inside a "multifamily building" Tuesday night.
Police went to the residence about 9:30 p.m. Tuesday for a welfare check, but once they arrived they found the man inside the home in the 4100 block of West Rivers Edge Circle.
The State of Wisconsin Crime Laboratory arrived at the scene shortly after to assist.
Police are now working with the Crime Laboratory and Medical Examiner's Office to determine the cause of death and positively identify the man.
The only identification released thus far is that the deceased is a white man.
