PLYMOUTH — A Sheboygan man was charged with his 7th OWI and drug possession after swerving through a corn field.
Emergency officials received a call about an erratic driver around 6 p.m. Thursday when they discovered 53-year-old Kevin Deavers in a nearby parking lot.
Witnesses observed Deavers driving erratically in the area of State Highway 67 between County Road E and PP in the Town of Plymouth when he suddenly swerved into a corn field and re-entered the roadway, according to the criminal complaint.
Police made contact with Deavers after discovering his vehicle covered in mud in a nearby parking lot.
When asked if he would submit to a field sobriety test, he said "f*** off," and attempted to swing a lunch cooler at police, according to the criminal complaint.
A search of his vehicle found marijuana and drug paraphernalia.
Deavers is scheduled to be back in court on Wednesday.
