MILWAUKEE-- A Milwaukee man, 31, was charged with arson of a building after allegedly setting fire to his residence, and telling police officers that his wife and child were inside.
According to the criminal complaint, Jermaine Deangelo House, set fire to a house on W. St. Paul Ave near Miller Valley on May 19th. causing $500,000 worth of damage to the structure. House allegedly tried to grab the hose from firefighters that were on scene, stating that he had to put the fire out himself.
The complaint stated that no other people were found inside the house, and House told authorities several times on scene that he had started the fire.
During the investigation it was found that the first was set in at least two locations on the first floor of the home, according to the complaint.
