Bond for the man accused of killing 15-year-old Dennis King has been set $500,000.
Malik Terrell, 21, has been charged with first degree intentional homicide.
According to a graphic criminal complaint, a relative inside a home near 12th & Keefe told investigators he saw Terrell beat King with a hammer and stab him, repeatedly, in the throat.
The fight was reportedly over a video game robbery.
Investigators also allege Terrell moved the teen’s body into a vacant house down the street and tried to burn it.
Police say Terrell then fled to Chicago where he was arrested.
