MILWAUKEE — Milwaukee County Parks has teamed up with Purple Door Ice Cream to produce a new Love Your Parks ice cream flavor called Trail Mix.
The new MKE Trail Mix flavor will be available by the scoop or the pint at all Purple Door Ice Cream locations and features malted vanilla ice cream, peanuts, golden raisins, and chocolate covered pretzels.
According to a press release from Milwaukee County Executive David Crowley, 20 percent of all sales from the ice cream will go towards to park system.
"Purple Door is pleased to introduce the Love your Parks MKE Trail Mix flavor. We were inspired to create a flavor that helped people feel a connection to being outside and especially outside in our great county parks." Said Lauren Schultz, co-owner of Purple Door Ice Cream.
The ice cream comes after two previous partnerships that resulted in a Love Your Parks beer and a Love Your Parks Coffee.
The flavor will be available through the month of October.
