A new report by the Wisconsin Realtors Association found that if you're looking to sell, the market is still hot for those looking to make a change.
Existing home sales rebounded in July after a poor showing in June, while median prices continued to escalate, according to the most recent analysis of the state housing market.
The study found that July home sales went up 3% compared to sales in 2018 with median prices increasing from 6.8 percent to $205,000 over that same period.
"The annual growth in sales is due in large part to the continued strength of the economy, combined with historically low mortgage rates," said WRA Chairman Jean Stefaniak.
There are currently 33,000 listings across the state of Wisconsin and if you break it down by price, the majority of homes are in the $200,000 to $300,000 range.
