Fall is officially over as local ski hills turn white this week.
Sunburst Winter Sports Park set up its snow guns Tuesday night, and plans to keep them running until Friday evening when they will begin moving snow. This is in anticipation of the opening of their terrain park Saturday morning.
If weather permits, Sunburst will be open to the public Saturday, Nov. 11 and Sunday, Nov. 12 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Little Switzerland has also prepared for the ski season, with live footage of snow guns coating the park.
