MILWAUKEE -- The Islamic community is shocked and saddened after learning a couple who believes in Islam is behind the deadly shooting rampage in San Bernardino, California.
"Of course you don't want them to be Muslim, but on the other hand we don't feel any assocation with them," explained Achraf Issam, Ahmadiyya Muslim Youth Association.
Aschraf Issam is one of tens of thousands of Muslims living in the Miwaukee area. He's part of a national youth organization that works to brin the community together.
"We are all one nation, we are all one community, we are all Americans who want to have a better future for the country, who want to have a peaceful community; and when events like this happen not to seek division between us."
The Ahmadiyya Muslim Youth Association is hosting a community wide blood drive December 19 from 9am-2pm. For more information call 877-232-4376 or visit their website.
