Since its inception in the late 1950's, NASA has played a strong historical role in education across all levels.  High among its many missions is to inspire and motivate students to pursue careers in science, technology, engineering and mathematics.

The NASA Educationwebsite provides educational opportunities, programs, videos, and games for students of all ages and grade levels. 

For preschoolers and younger, NASA Kids Club is a place to play games and learn about NASA. For students kindergarten through the university level the space agency has educational programs designed to fit their grade and level of interest.

The NASA Educator Resource Centerhelps teachers learn and use NASA’s educational resources.   Here teachers can search hundreds of resources by subject, grade level and keywords.  The site for educatorsprovides lesson plans and teaching materials to support science and math curriculums.

The NASA Education YouTube Channel is a collection of videos that are both educational and entertaining.

For a more in-depth educational experience, the Kennedy Space Center in Florida offers CampKSC®. The week-long day camp provides hands-on experience in science, technology, engineering and math activities for students in grades 2 through 9.  Space Camp®  programs for all ages are also offered at the U.S. Space and Rocket Center in Huntsville Alabama. 

Tours of 14 differentNASA facilities are available for the whole family in various parts of the country. The tours include behind the scene looks and educational programs for all ages and family members.
