Law enforcement is looking for a sexual assault suspect believed to be hiding in the town of Polk.

A bench warrant is out Jeremiah Button, 41, was charged with first degree child sexual assault, repeated sexual assault of same child, possession of child pornography, and incest with a child in Portage County, according to the Washington County Sheriff's Office.

Button missed an April 19 court appearance after a relative posted a $25,000 cash bond to bail him out of jail, and has not been seen since.

Deputies believes he is hiding with family in the 3600 block of Pioneer Road in the town of Polk, and the sheriff’s office said the family has been uncooperative with law enforcement.

Button is described as 5-foot, 11-inches with blond hair and blue eyes weighing 175 pounds. The public is urged to contact their local law enforcement agency, or the WCSO at 262-335-3320, if they have any information concerning his whereabouts. The WCSO advised the public to not take any other action other than calling law enforcement.
