Kyle Rittenhouse, the teen accused of shooting and killing two protesters in Kenosha, is expected to appear for an extradition hearing on Oct. 9.
Rittenhouse is accused of killing Anthony Huber and Joseph Rosenbaum during unrest in Kenosha following the police shooting of Jacob Blake. Rittenhouse's attorneys say he acting in self-defense.
He was arrested in Antioch, Illinois the day following the shooting.
Rittenhouse and his attorneys appeared for a hearing on Sept. 25, but Judge Paul Novak gave the defense 14 days to review papers and file pleadings.
Attorney John Price said he intended to fight extradition.
