WATERTOWN — Lennox and Kettle Moraine Heating & Air Conditioning teamed up as part of the 'Feel The Love' program to donate a new heating and cooling system free of charge to a woman in Watertown.

Lennox started the program in 2009 as a way to reward people who display acts of community service as well as helping those who have disabilities, financial challenges, lost their job or those who have served in the military. The most recent recipient of the new systems was Watertown's Karen Borth.

Borth is a cancer survivor and recent widow. She took care of her late husband, Lyle, who had many medical needs. Lyle passed away in June, prior to the couple celebrating their 47th wedding anniversary.

As a way to honor Lyle, the Borth family raised funds to purchase a K-9 for the Jefferson County Sheriff's Department, where her husband previously worked. Lennox learned of Borth's generosity and chose her to receive the new system.

Much to her surprise, Borth was extremely thankful for the new HVAC equipment. In addition to the HVAC equipment, Borth also received a humidifier that was donated by Aprilaire.

Since the program began, Lennox has helped more than 1,300 families across the country and Canada stay safe and comfortable inside their homes. In 2020 alone, the program has provided 400 installations.
