KENOSHA, Wisc. — Kenosha Unified School (KUSD) board members voted unanimously Tuesday night to make masks optional.
The policy change is effective Wednesday at schools and buildings in the district.
Masks will also not be required on yellow school buses.
The district is one of the last in the state to remove a mask mandate.
KUSD said additional information was shared with families and staff Tuesday.
