BRISTOL — On Oct. 28, around 8:30 p.m., the Kenosha County Sheriff’s Department investigated a fatal vehicle crash involving a Mini Cooper and a semi-truck on CTH Q (104th St) at CTH MB (152nd Ave) in the Village of Bristol.

Initial reports from deputies stated that there was heavy damage to the car and that the 34-year-old Kenosha man who was driving was pronounced dead at the scene.

The 5-year-old daughter of the deceased man was transported to a local hospital by the Bristol Fire Department, and has since succumbed to her injuries.

Deputies and detectives report that the 2004 Mini Cooper was traveling eastbound at a high rate of speed and struck the semi-truck that was attempting to turn south from CTH Q onto CTH MB.

The 50-year-old truck driver from Gurnee, IL, is cooperating with the investigation.
