KAUKAUNA (NBC 26) -- A coyote has been found dead under a porch. It comes a few days after Kaukauna Police warned the public about a coyote in the area behaving strangely.
According to Kaukauna Police, officers responded at around 4:15 p.m. Wednesday to a home on Kavanaugh Road. The caller stated they thought the coyote was under their front porch.
Officers looked under the porch and found the coyote dead.
Police said the coyote didn't have any apparent injuries. It's unclear at this time how the animal died.
Police officers collected the coyote and contacted the DNR to figure out what to do with the animal.
