Waushara County Sheriff's Office's Deputy K-9 officer, Mac, is retiring.

After serving as a K-9 Deputy for 10 years, Mac's time has come to a close. January 31, 2018 will be the dog's last day with the sheriff's office. Mac was only the second K-9 Deputy for the office, after Anuk.
Mac's coworkers are planning a retirement party on January 31 to celebrate his last day. Sgt. Brian Wenzel, Mac's partner, plans to get a new K-9 Deputy in the spring.
