MILWAUKEE -- The storefront once occupied by Melthouse Bistro on Milwaukee's east side will soon be home to a Jet's Pizza restaurant, TODAY'S TMJ4 partner, the Milwaukee Business Journal reported Friday.
The eatery — which will serve deep-dish crust pizza, among other options — will likely open sometime this fall or winter at 1857 E. Kenilworth Place, a company spokeswoman told the Milwaukee Business Journal.
The Milwaukee Business Journal reports the new dining spot will take over an approximately 2,300-square-foot space that has been vacant since the gourmet grilled cheese restaurant Melthouse Bistro closed its doors two years ago. The storefront is located on the ground-level of the Latitude Apartments.
In addition to pizza, Jet's also offers breadsticks, wings, an assortment of salad options and two varieties of sandwiches called Boats and Jetzees, which are made with bread crafted out of freshly baked pizza dough.
Sterling, Mich.-based Jet's Pizza was founded in 1978, started franchising in 1990 and now has more than 350 restaurants in 18 states, according to its website. In Wisconsin, Jet's Pizza has six locations, including eateries in Brookfield, Glendale and West Allis.
