Janesville Police arrested a Beloit man Monday for his fifth OWI after he allegedly crashed into another car in a shopping center and fled.
According to police, a bystander who witnessed the hit-and-run crash called officers who then chased the driver.
Police say Thomas Iverson, 60, threw beer cans out his car window, but eventually pulled over and was arrested.
Police said Iverson’s records showed four previous OWIs, and that he posted bond for his most recent one on Jan. 23 of this year.
