BROOKFIELD, Wis. -- Great news for deep dish lovers! Wisconsin's second Lou Malnati's location in Brookfield, Wisconsin is "officially moving forward," the company says.
The Northbrook, Illinois-based pizza chain is targeting a late spring date for opening. Construction recently got underway at 15795 West Bluemound Road.
This location will be unique because it will be the state's first full-service restaurant, with nearly 8,000-square feet in space and about 180 seats. The chain's first location in Fox Point is currently limited to take-out and delivery only.
“Our partners and dairy farmers up north have been critical to our success. We’ve been sourcing our cheese from the same vendors in Wisconsin for nearly 50 years,” said Marc. “We plan to open several locations in the Milwaukee area, including two to three restaurants and four or five carryout and delivery stores over the next three to five years,” he said.
The Brookfield Lou's location will also include private party rooms, and outdoor patio, and full bar. They expect to hire about 100 local employees.
