Milwaukee Police investigating four separate shootings, 1-year-old and teen injured

The Milwaukee Police Department is investigating four separate shootings that occurred on Saturday, which left five people injured, including a 1-year-old and a 17-year-old.

MILWAUKEE — The Milwaukee Police Department is investigating four separate shootings that occurred on Saturday, which left five people injured, including a 1-year-old and a 17-year-old.

The first shooting occurred on the 4200 block of W. Capitol Drive at around 10 a.m. due to road rage.

According to the police, during the incident, gunfire was exchanged and both people involved sustained non-life-threatening injuries and were treated at local hospitals.

A 1-year-old passenger in one of the vehicles also sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was taken to a local hospital for treatment.

Both drivers are now in custody and charges are pending review by the Milwaukee County District Attorney's Office.

The second shooting occurred on the 200 block of W. Melvina Avenue at around 3:15 p.m.

A 32-year-old victim sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was taken to a local hospital for treatment.

The circumstances leading up to the shooting are under investigation and the police are currently looking for an unknown suspect.

The third shooting occurred on the 2100 block of N. 41st Street at around 5:45 p.m.

A 17-year-old sustained serious injuries and was taken to a local hospital for treatment.

The circumstances leading up to the shooting are under investigation.

The fourth shooting occurred on the 2400 block of W. Burleigh Street at around 7:42 p.m.

A 20-year-old victim sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was taken to a local hospital for treatment.
