The Milwaukee Police Department is investigating a shooting that left a 9-year-old critically injured on Thursday night.
The non-fatal shooting occurred at around 11:19 p.m. on the 300 block of E. Burleigh Street.

The 9-year-old was taken to a local hospital in critical condition.
