RACINE — TOWN OF WATERFORD — One person was pronounced dead at the scene after a crash on State Highway 83 near Maple Road in the Town of Waterford about 7:35 a.m. Thursday, according to the Racine County Sheriff's Office.
Two patients were transported to Froedtert Hospital, suffering serious and life-threatening injuries.
Further information on the identities of those involved in the crash is pending notification of loved ones.
A sedan reportedly was headed northbound on State Highway 83 and crossed the center line, striking head-on a pickup truck that was traveling southbound.
The investigation is ongoing.
