WASHINGTON COUNTY -- A single vehicle rollover accident on I-41 in Washington County leaves one person in critical condition.

The crash happened around 10:45 a.m. Saturday, just south of Holy Hill Road.

The Germantown Fire Department says it found the vehicle on its roof, with one victim trapped inside. Germantown Firefighters extricated the victim with the assistance of two Racine Firefighters and a Physician who were passersby.

Emergency officials stabilized the victim until the arrival of Flight for life. The patient was then transported to Froedtert Hospital Trauma Center.

The freeway was closed briefly in both directions so crews could clean-up the damage and so the Flight for Life helicopter could land.

No other information has been released at this time.
